Heartless.

The dark night,
filled with my thoughts,
and memories that won't happen ever again,
Knowing this keeps me cold and dead,
because the thief of my heart is still out there,
and clueless that it has been with her,
and yet joyful of having yet the presence of another man.

I cry myself to sleep,
a sleep thought to be peaceful from a person on the outside,
yet in my dreams I don't escape the sorrow,
nor the fact that she will not be mine, not in this life,
not in the next.
False hope has clouded my mind,
hope that was thought to be better for my tomorrows.

The darkness fill my days and nights,
yet no one sees,
I will still continue to find someone,
someone who would understand,
even if it takes forever,
even if it leaves me with scars,
that someone is you.
